Kate is the newest addition to the WTCW lead instructor team and could not be more honored and excited to share what she knows, continue her development as an arborist, and grow as an educator. She holds a deep love for trees and the natural world, and finds joy in any opportunity where she can pass that love and knowledge along.
Kate currently lives in New Hampshire and is a graduate of the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources (2014), holding a B.S. in Environmental Sciences. Although it was not her direct course of study, Kate’s passion and aptitude for plant pathology and plant biology are what sparked her interest in the field of arboriculture, and she quickly fell in love with it. Over her 9 years in the tree care industry, Kate has dabbled in all aspects, including plant healthcare, tree work, climbing, sales, and management; however, over the past 5 years, she has committed herself to climbing and organic/IPM plant healthcare.
