Melissa adores sharing her love of trees and the skills she’s acquired over the last 29 years in the industry of arboriculture. Melissa is a passionate educator and her down-to-earth ability lends her subject matter expertise to be accessible by students, newbie to advanced alike.
As the Women’s Tree Climbing Workshop ™ Owner and Co-Founder, Melissa also serves as a lead instructor and website designer, and head of marketing. Her qualifications include: A University of Massachusetts alumni, ISA TRAQ Certified Arborist, ISA Climber Specialist, American Red Cross Instructor, Past President of the New England Chapter of ISA, Past President of the Massachusetts Tree Wardens & Forester’s Association, Arborist Rope splicer, Petzl PPE qualified inspector, past Connecticut, Maine, New England ISA, New Hampshire, and New York Tree Climbing Champion, and past ITCC Competitor.
